Goodbye Bam
6/2008 - 6/21/2010

She and her sister Cinammon came from a lady whose daughter wasn't taking care of them any more. Two dumbo girls who were very friendly, they came to my place, first with Big Bubba, who they would "harass" and then after he passed, they became the "Bubba" to two new girls, Janey and Zuzu.

Bam was the friendlier of the two sisters - she liked being pet and would come when I would show up at their table (they live on a high table with barriers). She was a total treat begger and loved Cheerios among other treats.

She had her first tumor in August of 2009. The second one came in almost the same spot - right along with her sister who had a really bad, hard one. I thought, having been through these before and know a bad tumor when I see one, that Cinammon might not survive the surgery - but both girls left the doctor's office, drugged, not feeling real well, but alive. Unfortunately, Bam didn't make home, passing on just as I got home. I believe it was just hard on her because of her age (2 years old at least, possibly more). She was a great girl and will be missed very much by anyone who came in contact with as well as her sister.
