Zuzu came with her sister Janey from a craigslist rescue -she was the sickly one and had been struggling with respiratory issues since I got her. Without her meds, I'm sure she would have never lasted two weeks past the time I got her - or if I hadn't taken her, they both most likely would have perished by other means. She and her sister were named after the two daughters from "It's a Wonderful Life." She had a very nice life, first with Bam and Cinammon, then with Buster and Freddy. Her last few days she finally spent time with the two new arrivals, Sadie and Layla. She was the runt of the litter and was always small but got a solid year and a half of life. She made it to the new cage and died the next day. She was very shy at first but the last couple months of her life looked forward to being held and petted. She will be missed.
