Thelmas babies were born about September 29 (I’m not sure of the exact date and neither is their former owner). I got them at about 12-13 days. Their eyes opened a couple days ago and now for the first time, they’re wandering around. The babies will be available around the beginning of November. I won’t be doing any kind of daily updates like I did with Samantha’s babies, but I will put up periodic pictures so if you’re interested in any, you can pick out what you want. If you see any you want to reserve now, feel free to email me. There are seven girls, three boys. Their mom Thelma is the friendliest rat ever.
Keep in mind, their former owner is a snake owner. I simply stumbed
across this via the Los Angeles Recycler. She was selling all of
them for snake food. In her emails with me, she said all of them,
including the mom would have went to the snake unless someone came and
got them (the thought of Thelma and her sister Louise going to a snake
just makes me cringe. These are about as friendly an animal as there ever
was). The babies’ father was in fact, fed to the snake. So
any babies you take, you can keep in mind, you are saving a life that would
have surely never lived to see the light of day. If these babies
have any of the traits of their mom, you will never find a better pet.
Dark pile of babies.

One of the four black berkshire females.
My favorite little boy.
Beautiful spots.
An awesome girl.
Aunt Louise is a super relative, treats them like they were her own.
