Lucy’s baby's’ eyes have opened and their personalities are really starting to show. A couple of them are already not liking to be held, while a couple others don’t seem to care too much. I’ll pick up one of them and she’ll squirm and move around and I have to put her back down because I’m afraid she’s going to jump off my hand. I of course hold them over their tank so that if they do get away, they’ll only fall back down into a pile of bedding, but I still have to be careful.
Lucy is also starting to get a little more comfortable with me, although she’s no where near being completely human friendly. And she’s a little more open now when she’s feeding the babies whereas before she would do it only in hiding. When I stick my hand in the tank to touch the babies, she doesn’t get too excited like she did the first couple days. She’s getting plenty of corn and peas and treats and I can see she gets a little excited when I put her daily dish of veggies in. She also gets some treats; cheese, crackers, stuff like that. The babies are starting to venture around here and there in the tank.

The babies are starting to find their favorite spots. One looks
like Goliath (right photo).
I’m assuming the father was a black mouse since the babies either have Lucy’s color, or black fur. Some have patches of white on them and a couple have the same coloring as my mouse Goliath (pure coincidence).
The babies hop all over the place. None of them like to be held, so it makes it somewhat difficult to tell if there are any boys, but so far, it still looks like all six of them are female, which would be great because they could all spend the rest of their lives together.

During their first tank cleaning, I put them in a plastic bin. They
scampered all over the place.
This is Goliath. He's no relation.
